Bank officer from Punjab's Amritsar jumps before Metro in Delhi, dies
PTC Web Desk: A 35-year-old Punjab and Sind Bank officer took his own life by jumping in front of a Metro train in Delhi, the police said on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Divanshu Chopra, a resident of Amritsar in Punjab. No suicide note was found at the scene.
The police reported said Divanshu Chopra had arrived in Delhi on the same day from Amritsar. He was employed as an officer at Punjab and Sind Bank and resided in Amritsar with his parents.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
