Bhajanlal Sharma takes oath as Rajasthan Chief Minister in presence of PM Modi
Jaipur, December 15: Bhajanlal Sharma was officially sworn in as Rajasthan's Chief Minister on Friday, stepping into the role after being designated for the position. Joining him in the oath-taking ceremony were Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa, both appointed as Deputy Chief Ministers in the recent BJP legislature party gathering.
Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath of office to the trio. The ceremony, held in the presence of esteemed guests including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, various union ministers, and chief ministers from diverse states, took place at the iconic Albert Hall in Jaipur.
The event witnessed the attendance of notable figures such as Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
Former Rajasthan Chief Minister and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje graced the swearing-in ceremony of Bhajan Lal Sharma.
Before the oath-taking, Sharma embarked on a spiritual journey, offering prayers at the Govind Devji temple and extending his kindness by feeding cows at the Pinjrapol Gaushala on Tonk road, accompanied by family members and supporters. He also visited another revered temple and sought blessings from his parents at his residence in Balaji Tower near Jawahar Circle.
Prior to the ceremony, Sharma paid reverence at a Shiv temple within the premises before making his way to the official oath-taking ceremony.
