Bomb threat posters put up at UP's Ram Janaki temple; probe on
Bomb threat posters: The Ram Janaki Temple in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, received a bomb threat on Sunday. The ancient temple's walls and floor were covered in bomb threat posters.
Rohit Sahu, a BJP leader and trustee of Kanpur's Ram Janaki Temple, also received a threat letter.
Rahul Sahu, Rohit Sahu's younger brother, stated, "I got information about threat letters pasted on the temple walls and scattered on the floor in the morning. When I arrived, I, too, noticed threat letters scattered about. I got scared, closed the doors, and set up police barricades.
After receiving information about the incident, the police responded immediately.
"We found threatening posters inside the temple premises. We will file a case against the criminals involved. The letter contains some objectionable content," police said.
