New Delhi, February 16: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has categorically denied the authenticity of recent news circulating about the postponement of Class XII board exams due to the ongoing farmers' protest. In an official statement issued on Saturday, the CBSE clarified that the news is entirely fake and without merit.

The statement also underscores the importance of relying on official communication channels for accurate information regarding any decisions or updates related to CBSE examinations. It urges students, parents, and educational institutions to verify information through the official CBSE website or authorised communication channels.

"There has been no change in the schedule of Class XII board exams, and the exams will proceed as per the previously announced dates," the CBSE said in a statement, adding that the board assured stakeholders that it remained committed to conducting examinations fairly and transparently.
