PTC News Desk: Monsoon fury has disrupted normal life in Uttarakhand. A cloudburst occurred near the Bhim Bali stream on the Kedarnath walking trail, resulting in a landslide. Following severe rain in the area, at least ten people died, and the concrete bridge and footbridge on the Kedarnath trail were damaged, according to Uttarakhand State Disaster Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman on Thursday.

The closure of the path has stranded over 200 pilgrims in Bhim Bali.

A continuous rainfall caused a dramatic surge in the Mandakini River's water level, prompting the authorities to evacuate the Gaurikund temple and transport devotees to a safer location.

The NDRF, SDRF, police, and other emergency services, such as hospitals, are on high alert.

Meanwhile, a cloudburst killed two persons and injured another in Jakhanyali, Tehri Garhwal district. The deceased have been identified as Bhanu Prasad (50) and Neelam Devi (45). Their 28-year-old son Vipin was injured when an eatery and a culvert near the Nautar stream were washed away by a cloudburst in Ghansali's Jakhanyali.
