Delhi shocker: Man beaten to death, rod inserted in private parts over food spillage
PTC News Desk: In a shocking incident, a man in national capital was beaten to death and an iron rod was inserted in his private parts over food spillage in a bus, according to police. The tragic incident unfolded in Delhi’s Bawana area.
The deceased has been identified as Manoj who worked as a cook. He was beaten by three people the driver of the RTV bus and his two helpers, one of whom shoved an iron rod in his private part, the officials revealed.
The incident came to light after Delhi police recovered a man's body near a pond behind the DTC depot in Bawana on February 7. The post-mortem revealed that the victim was brutally assaulted before he succumbed to his injuries.
The police said that they have arrested one accused while two others are still absconding. According to the police, Manoj, a native of Narela boarded the bus while he was in intoxicated and carrying food. As the bus started moving, the food accidentally spilled over the seat, infuriating the driver and his partners who then coerced Manoj to remove his shirt and clean the spillage. Upon Manoj's refusal, the driver and his friends hurled abuses and brutally assaulted Manoj leading to his death.
After committing such a heinous crime, the accused dumped the body near the pond behind the DTC depot and fled the scene.
The police has launched investigation into the matter and launched manhunt to nab the other two accused.
