Divya Pahuja murder: Crime Branch arrests accused Balraj Gill from West Bengal
Divya Pahuja Murder: In a significant development in the murder of model Divya Pahuja, the crime branch arrested accused Balraj Gill from West Bengal.
Balraj Gill and his aide Ravi Bandra reportedly disposed of Divya Pahuja's body, which has yet to be found. Ravi Banga continues to evade arrest.
Following Gill's arrest, Divya's body may be found.
Previously, police recovered a BMW car used to transport the body from Patiala, Punjab.
Divya Pahuja, an accused in the alleged fake encounter with dreaded gangster Sandeep Gadoli, was released on bail after serving seven years in prison. She was killed on January 2.
Police said she was blackmailing Abhijeet Singh, 56, a hotel owner in the city, who allegedly shot her to death at one of his properties.
Singh along with his two employees Hemraj (28) and Om Prakash (23) were arrested in connection with the case.
The murder was discovered after Pahuja's family, unable to contact her, approached police, suspecting foul play.
