DLF Mall in Noida, Ambience Mall in Gurugram get bomb threats
PTC News Desk: DLF Mall in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and Ambience Mall in Gurugram, Haryana, reportedly received bomb threats via email on Saturday. The police and bomb squad were dispatched to the malls, and a search operation has been launched.
According to India Today, Ambience Mall management received the threat via email, in which the sender claimed to have hidden bombs to "kill everyone in the building". According to the report, he reportedly named two people in the email, alleging that they were "behind this attack".
According to several media reports, the DLF Mall in Noida received a bomb threat email from anonymous sources. Soon after receiving information about the bomb threat, a police squad arrived at the scene and began a search operation. The email indicated that a bomb had been planted within the building, and that everyone present would die, with no one escaping.
As part of the preventive steps, the police advised mall and store employees, as well as visitors, to move to safer areas, according to the report.
