PTC Web Desk: A three-year-old child lost his life after being stuck in a traffic jam for nearly three hours while his parents were rushing him to a hospital. This marks the second such incident in the last 15 days where a patient died due to traffic congestion in Kota, Rajasthan.
Pappu Lal said his son, Hariom, was suffering from fever and cold. Despite receiving initial treatment, his condition worsened. At around 7 am, the family decided to take him to Kota in a private vehicle for advanced medical care.
However, they were trapped in a massive traffic jam for approximately three hours. Despite repeatedly seeking help from the police, no assistance was provided. By the time they managed to reach Mandana, the child had already passed away.
This is the second such incident within 15 days. Earlier, Amin Tailor, a resident of Khairabad, lost his life due to a similar situation. He suffered a heart attack and was referred to Kota for emergency treatment. However, his ambulance was stuck in traffic for over two hours, leading to his death before reaching the hospital.
