Drunk man kills wife with sharp weapon after fight
PTC News Desk: A 27-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband in Manesar after being attacked with a sharp weapon, police said Saturday.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Friday night in Khoh village, when the accused arrived home inebriated and got into a fight with his wife. The couple's two children were not present when the incident took place.
During the fight, the husband allegedly attacked his wife with a sharp weapon, according to authorities.
According to reports, the victim's cousin, who was a renter in the nearby house, filed a complaint with the IMT Manesar police station.
According to the victim's cousin, the accused often assaulted and thrashed her.
"On Saturday morning, we found the victim's room locked from the outside. We called them on her mobile phone, but she did not answer. When I checked the room's window, my sister was covered in blood and laying naked on the mattress, so we called the cops," the victim's cousin stated in his complaint.
According to SHO Yogesh Kumar, the police responded quickly and submitted the body for post-mortem.
"The accused was working for a private company and is now on the run. The woman was the mother of two children who lived in their village," the SHO stated.
An FIR has been filed against the husband under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (murder), he stated.
