Delhi Excise policy case: Court adjourns hearing on Manish Sisodi's bail plea
Excise policy scam: The Rouse Avenue court on Saturday adjourned hearing arguments of ED on the bail plea of Manish Sisodia till April 10.
The ED opposed the bail application on a variety of grounds, including the delay on the part of the accused persons.
Manish Sisodia will appear before the court from jail via video conferencing.
Manish Sisodia's party colleague Sanjay Singh, a co-accused who was recently granted bail by the Supreme Court in the case, also attended the proceedings.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Manish Sisodia on February 26, 2023, for his suspected involvement in the "scam". Sisodia resigned from Delhi's government on February 28, 2023.
Earlier last week, the Aam Aadmi Party leader said that the Enforcement Directorate had been unable to verify that the money trail led back to him. His lawyer informed the court that because the claims against him have yet to be proven, he is entitled to bail.
The CBI and the ED claimed that irregularities were committed when modifying the Delhi Excise Policy, that undue advantages were granted to licence holders, that licencing fees were waived or lowered, and that licences were extended without the approval of the appropriate authority.
