February is the second month of the year in the Gregorian calendar and typically consists of 28 days, except during leap years when it has 29 days.

During this month, if you are planning to complete your long-pending crucial paperwork at bank, you must be aware of the upcoming bank holidays in February, including the second and fourth Saturdays as well as Sundays.

According to the Reserve Bank of India's holiday calendar, banks will be shut for 11 days in various states and districts across Nation in the month of February.
February 4, 2024 (Sunday) - Both private and public banks will remain closed across the Nation
February 10, 2024 (Saturday) - Banks to be closed as it is Second Saturday
February 11, 2024 (Sunday) - Both private and public banks will remain closed across the Nation
February 14, 2024 (Wednesday) - Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata on occasion of Basanta Panchami/Saraswati Puja
February 15, 2024 (Thursday) - Banks will remain closed in Imphal due to Lui-Ngai-Ni
February 18, 2024 (Sunday) - Both private and public banks will remain closed across the Nation
February 19, 2024 (Monday) - Banks will remain closed in Belapur, Mumbai, Nagpur on occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti

February 20, 2024 (Tuesday) - Banks will remain closed in Aizawl, Itanagar, due to State Day/Statehood Day
February 24, 2024 (Saturday) - Banks to be closed as it is Fourth Saturday
February 25, 2024 (Sunday) - Both private and public banks will remain closed across the Nation
February 26, 2024 (Monday) - Banks will remain closed in Itanagar on occasion of Nyokum
The Reserve Bank has notified the holidays under three brackets — the Negotiable Instruments Act, Holiday, Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.
On the above mentioned holidays, although the banks will be closed, the online banking services will be active which will allow customers to access their bank accounts and perform various transactions at any time, day or night, from virtually anywhere with an internet connection.
