Gurugram hit-and-run: Survivor hits back at accused day after incident, says 'if not intentional why did he flee'
PTC News Desk: Gurugram hit-and -run survivor Sia broke her silence on the incident since the video of a car ramming her bike and throwing off her vehicle went viral on social media. She also reacted to the accused's statement that he did not deliberately hit her and feel bad for her.

Countering him, Sia said that the videos vividly show the brutal manner in which he rammed her with his car.
"In a hit-and-run case, how are two videos not enough? One video clearly shows the driver switching to the third lane from the first, hitting me and fleeing. Another front-angle video also shows him switching lanes, ramming my bike and running off. I was thrown off, dragged under his car. Are these two videos not enough for proof?" She asked in the Instagram video.
She said that even a delay of two to three seconds could have caused her far more injuries, including multiple fractures. "I could have died on the spot."

"If the driver felt such concern for me, it was his responsibility to stop, step out of his car, and check to see if there were any injuries...Such a sympathy-seeking character does not suit him at all. All the videos show how he rammed my bike and fled the spot without even stopping for a second to see if I was dead or alive. I feel ashamed of such people...they don't realise that there are women in their families as well," Sia said in her video statement, stressing that such incidents make women feel unsafe on Gurugram and Delhi roads.
The case
A video showing a woman biker being knocked off her motorcycle by a car on a Gurugram road had gone viral on social media, with the rider alleging that the vehicle had been following and trying to confront her before the crash.
The incident reportedly took place on Sunday on Golf Course Road, where the woman, identified online as Sia, was riding her Aprilia RS 457 along with members of her biking group.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Sia said the occupants of a car began behaving aggressively while she was riding. She alleged that the car repeatedly tried to come close to her and that the people inside asked her to stop.
Sia claimed she kept riding to avoid being blocked and also asked the occupants to maintain a safe distance. According to her account, she suspected that the men inside the car were drunk.
She further alleged that the car continued to follow her before the driver suddenly tried to move in front of her motorcycle. The car then hit her bike, throwing her onto the road. The motorcycle was also dragged for a few metres before the car sped away.
The incident was captured on an action camera fitted to Sia's motorcycle.
