Haryana CM Nayab Saini slams Mamata Banerjee over women safety in state, accuses her of targetting Hindus
PTC News Desk: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, alleging that her government is focused on appeasing a particular section, while the general public especially women continues to face harassment and exploitation. He said that despite West Bengal having a woman Chief Minister, the condition of women in the state is deteriorating day by day.
Speaking to media persons at an event held at Haryana Niwas here today, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini further alleged that the Hindu community is being targeted in West Bengal, and instead of fulfilling her constitutional responsibilities, Mamata Banerjee is indulging in discriminatory politics.
He said that although people entrusted her with a constitutional position, but contrary to that, she is induldging in discrimination and engaged in vote-bank politics. He added that the state’s social structure has been weakened by giving place to outsiders, which is why initiatives like SIR are being opposed.
PM Narendra Modi’s prioritize the welfare of 140 Crore Indians
The Chief Minister said that, in contrast, all the schemes introduced by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are designed with the overall welfare of 140 crore Indians in mind. These initiatives aim to simplify the lives of ordinary citizens and ensure direct delivery of benefits. He said that the West Bengal Chief Minister is occupied with catering to a limited section of society.
AAP and Congress are only noise-making parties
On being asked to comment on the failure of the Punjab Government to deliver benefits to women under the schemes it had announced, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini strongly criticized the Aam Aadmi Party government in Pubjab. He said that the AAP government in Punjab is merely a noise-making government with no real work to show. He added that the condition of the Congress party is no different.
Chief Minister said that only the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is genuinely working for the welfare of the people. Congress and the so-called INDI alliance make a lot of noise, but they do not deliver, he added.
