Haryana opens portal for one-time purchase incentive on electric, hybrid vehicles
PTC Web Desk: The Haryana Government has launched an online portal to provide a one-time purchase incentive for buyers of electric and hybrid electric vehicles in the state. The scheme is applicable to vehicles priced between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 70 lakh, registered between May 1, 2025, and July 24, 2025.
Eligible vehicle owners can apply for the incentive on the Invest Haryana Portal between August 28, 2025, and September 27, 2025. The portal will remain active for one month only. A spokesperson for the Industries and Commerce Department said the scheme was aimed at encouraging the use of eco-friendly vehicles that not only help reduce carbon emissions but also lower fuel-related expenses for consumers. Studies have shown that electric and hybrid vehicles emit significantly fewer greenhouse gases compared to conventional petrol and diesel vehicles, thus contributing to cleaner air and a healthier environment.
