IMD alert: Heavy rain likely in these states over next two days
The Indian Meteorological Department predicted heavy rain in some parts of the country during the next two days. The weather department has also predicted hailstorms in other states. Aside from that, there will be no heat wave for the next five days, it added.
According to IMD, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh will witness rain with strong thunder and lightning during the next five days. Further, moderate has been predicted in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala.
Telangana is expected to receive heavy rainfall on April 27. In addition, rain is likely in Northeast India over the next five days.
Arunachal Pradesh may witness rain between April 27 and 29, while Assam and Meghalaya can witness rain on April 28 and 29. In addition, a rain warning has been issued for Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Gujarat.
A hailstorm warning has been issued for Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada between April 25 and 27, as well as for several locations in Himachal Pradesh on April 26 and 27.
According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi will not only will dark heavy clouds encamp in the sky for five days beginning Thursday, but rain will also continue. The temperature will also be lower than usual.
