India denies involvement in Balochistan school bus bombing, labels Pakistan’s accusation baseless

PTC Web Desk: India has firmly rejected Pakistan’s accusation that it was behind a deadly suicide bombing in Balochistan, calling the claim an attempt to deflect international attention from Islamabad’s internal shortcomings and ongoing security lapses.

The incident occurred on Wednesday morning in Khuzdar city, where a suicide attacker reportedly rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a school bus transporting children to the Army Public School. The blast killed five persons, including at least three children, and left several others seriously injured.

Responding to the allegations, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a strong statement, condemning the loss of innocent lives but dismissing the accusation as completely unfounded.

“India rejects the baseless allegations made by Pakistan regarding Indian involvement in the Khuzdar incident. We extend our condolences to the victims and their families,” said MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal.

“Pakistan’s consistent habit of blaming India for its internal issues, rather than addressing the root causes of terrorism within its own borders, is a tactic aimed at misleading the international community,” said Jaiswal.

He further added that such efforts to manipulate the global narrative are "doomed to fail."

No claim of responsibility yet, but Pakistan points at India

As of now, no militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack. However, the Pakistani military issued a statement directly accusing India of using "terror proxies" to target innocent civilians.

The military statement alleged:“Indian state-sponsored terror networks are being activated to target soft civilian infrastructure in Pakistan, including schoolchildren.”

This latest exchange of accusations has added to the already strained relations between the two South Asian nations. India has long accused Pakistan of providing safe havens for terror groups, while Pakistan continues to allege foreign interference in its internal affairs..
