Jammu and Kashmir: 3 terrorists neutralised, soldier injured as Operation Akhal enters day 3
PTC News Desk: Three terrorists were neutralised and one soldier injured in Jammu and Kashmir as Operation Akhal entered third day.
This takes the total number of terrorists killed in the ongoing operation to six, after three were gunned down by security forces on Saturday.
A fierce encounter broke out after the terrorist opened fire at security forces in South Kashmir's Akhal region with forces neautralising three terrorists.
The operation was carried out with the asistance of High-tech surveillance systems and the elite paramilitary forces. The DGP and 15 Corps Commander are closely monitoring the situation.
The development follows days after the security forces eliminated three terrorits, mastermind behind Pahalgam terrorist attacks near Srinagar's Dachigam area in Operation Mahadev.
