Kashmir Zone Police also took to their X handle (former Twitter) and stated that encounter erupted at Parigam area of Pulwama. Police and security forces are on job.

In a joint operation, the police and army officials also launched a cordon and search operation in the Parigam area of Pulwama
The brief exchange of fire erupted between security personnel’s and terrorists after which area was cordoned off
No causalities have been reported so far.
