Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi being deported to India in high-profile operation
PTC Web Desk: In a significant achievement for India’s security establishment, international gangster Anmol Bishnoi, younger brother of jailed criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, is being deported to India from the United States. Officials from central agencies and the Delhi Police Crime Branch have confirmed this major breakthrough, calling it a crucial step in dismantling the Bishnoi gang’s overseas operations.
Anmol Bishnoi, a notorious figure with deep links to global criminal networks, has been wanted in multiple high-profile cases across India. These include the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, the firing incident outside actor Salman Khan’s residence, and the Baba Siddiqui murder case, along with several other criminal charges registered in various states.
His deportation is being viewed as a major international crackdown on the Bishnoi gang’s expanding influence. Authorities believe that Anmol played a central role in coordinating operations from abroad, especially after his brother Lawrence Bishnoi was lodged in Ahmedabad’s high-security Sabarmati Jail.
Anmol had earlier appeared in a viral video attending a night party with Punjabi singer Karan Aujla abroad. In 2024, he was detained in the United States, where he remained under the custody of law enforcement agencies until the deportation order was finalised.
Security officials say Anmol’s return to India holds significant implications, as he is considered a key operative who oversaw major activities of the Bishnoi syndicate. His interrogation is expected to shed light on the gang's international funding channels, collaborators and future plans.
