Madhya Pradesh: Tragic drowning incident claims lives of two IAF staffers at Betul
Betul (Madhya Pradesh), September 30: In a heartbreaking incident, two airmen from the Indian Air Force (IAF) lost their lives in a tragic drowning accident while enjoying a picnic in Madhya Pradesh's Betul district, as confirmed by the local authorities on Saturday.
The unfortunate incident took place during a picnic by a group of nine Indian Air Force staffersat Dhanora Parasdoh, situated approximately 35 km from Betul district headquarters. According to an official statement, the victims were from the IAF's Amla station.

Tragedy struck when two of the IAF staffers airmen, identified as Vishnudutt and Yogendra Dhakad, both in their early twenties, drowned while bathing in the waterfall at Dhanora Parasdoh. Sub-divisional officer of police (SDOP) Bhupendra Singh Maurya said both of them went missing in the waterfall, leading to immediate rescue efforts.
After receiving the distress call, rescue teams were swiftly dispatched to the scene. However, , the bodies of the IAF staffers were recovered Saturday morning.
