Gujarat Fire: Children among 20 killed in massive blaze at gaming zone

PTC Web Desk: A massive fire broke out at a gaming zone in Rajkot, Gujarat, on Saturday evening, killing 20 people. Multiple fire trucks were dispatched to the scene, and efforts are still underway to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

"A fire broke out in the TRP gaming zone this afternoon. The rescue operations are ongoing. The fire is under control. We're trying to recover as many bodies as possible. As of now, about twenty bodies have been recovered and taken to the hospital for further investigation. Investigations will be carried out. Yuvraj Singh Solanki owns the gaming zone. We will file an offence for negligence and the deaths that occurred. Raju Bhargava, Rajkot police commissioner, said.


Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has directed the municipal corporation and administration to conduct immediate rescue and relief operations in the fire incident. "Instructions have been given to the Municipal Corporation and the administration for immediate rescue and relief operations in the fire incident in the game zone in Rajkot. It has also been instructed to prioritize arrangements for immediate treatment of the injured," Bhupendra Patel said.
