Nepal mayhem: Chandigarh administration sets up control room for flood victims
PTC News Desk: In view of the flash floods in Nepal, the Chandigarh Administration has set up a control room to help track people from Chandigarh who may be missing or untraceable after the incident.
The administration has appealed to the residents to inform the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, UT Chandigarh if any family member or acquaintance is missing in Nepal.

Mohan Singh, Office Superintendent at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, UT Chandigarh, has been designated as the contact person for this matter.
The information received from citizens will be compiled and shared with the concerned authorities. The initiative aims to help locate people from Chandigarh who are missing in Nepal and provide necessary assistance to affected families.
The sudden floods near the Nepal-Tibet border on Wednesday morning have reportedly killed 210 people, including 207 in Nepal and three in Tibet. Around 1,500 people are still missing. According to Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal, 826 people have been reported missing, including more than 300 Indians.
