Noida man suffers severe burns as live-in partner scalds him with boiling water
Noida, July 17: A man received 40% burns when his live-in partner allegedly poured boiling water on him in the Azaad Vihar area of Uttar Pradesh's Noida.
A complaint was lodged by the victim's father. The police have opened an investigation under IPC sections 324 and 506. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
According to Vijay Kumar's complaint, his eldest son Rohit and a married woman named Savita were living together for the last six years.
According to the complaint received on July 6, Rohit informed his father, Vijay Kumar, over the phone that Savita had poured boiling water on him, resulting in significant burns. She also threatened to kill him, according to the complaint.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred when the victim returned to the area with his live-in partner after visiting his ancestral village, where Savita had previously filed a complaint against him.
Concerned for his son's well-being, Vijay Kumar brought him to the government hospital in Sector 39, Noida, where he was referred to the AIIMS hospital in Delhi. Rohit has been in the hospital for the previous 10 days.
