Nuh DSP transferred amid recent violence in Haryana
Chandigarh, August 8: In an official move, the Haryana Government has ordered the transfer of a deputy superintendent-level police officer from Nuh. According to the order released on Monday, Deputy Superintendent of Police Jai Prakash, previously stationed in Nuh, has been reassigned to a new role as Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Police Headquarters in Panchkula.
Mukesh Kumar, who was serving as Deputy Superintendent of Police in Siwani within Bhiwani district, will now succeed Jai Prakash. Earlier, Superintendent of Police Varun Singla and Deputy Commissioner Prashant Panwar had also been transferred from Nuh. Notably, Singla was on leave when a series of communal clashes occurred in the district. Tragic events unfolded as six individuals, including two home guards and a clergyman, lost their lives during the clashes. The conflict had initially ignited in Nuh over an attempt to halt a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession, eventually spreading to Gurugram and other localities. The new developments involve Singla taking up the position of Superintendent of Police in Bhiwani, while Narendra Bijarniya, who was temporarily handling additional responsibilities during Singla's absence, has assumed the role of Nuh's new Superintendent of Police following an order issued on August 3. Furthermore, Deputy Commissioner Prashant Panwar's duties have been taken over by Dhirendra Khadgata.
