PM Modi’s oath ceremony : The much-anticipated swearing-in ceremony for Narendra Modi's third term, dubbed "Modi 3.0," is set to be a grand event , with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) securing 240 seats and along with its allies, it stands at 293 seats. Chandrababu Naidu's TDP and Nitish Kumar's JDU, having won 16 and 12 seats respectively in their respective states, have extended support to the NDA.

The President will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the Prime Minister and other members of the Union Council of Ministers at 7.15 pm

The ceremony will be held at the iconic Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, the official residence of the President of India. 

Meanwhile, Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi on Friday met President Droupadi Murmu to stake claim to form a new government.

Today, the alliance also submitted its list of MPs to the President, further solidifying its position. This follows a unanimous resolution by all NDA partners endorsing Narendra Modi as their leader. The Prime Minister, in response, thanked the citizens for their continued support and pledged that the NDA government will provide good governance.

Narendra Modi’s oath ceremony: Guest List 

More than 75 global leaders have congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. These well-wishers span various regions, including Asia, Europe, Africa, West Asia, and the Caribbean. Additionally, leaders from the Nordic countries, such as Denmark and Norway, have also conveyed their felicitations to PM Modi on his electoral success.

Nepal's Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Bhutan's PM Tshering Tobgay, and Mauritius PM Pravind Jugnauth have also been invited for the high-profile ceremony

This oath ceremony marks the beginning of Narendra Modi’s third consecutive term as Prime Minister, an unprecedented achievement in modern Indian politics. The event underscores the continuity of his leadership and the confidence placed in him by the electorate.
