Raja Raghuvanshi’s family to move Shillong High Court to seek narco test on murder accused
PTC Web Desk: The family of slain Indore transport businessman Raja Raghuvanshi is set to file an appeal in the Shillong High Court demanding narco analysis tests on the accused in his murder case. The family has already hired three lawyers for the legal proceedings and has announced that if the High Court rejects the plea, they will escalate the matter to the Supreme Court.
Raja Raghuvanshi’s brother, Vipin Raghuvanshi, said they might be visiting Shillong this week to push for the narco test. He said they were still searching for the real reason behind Raja’s murder. "We believe only a narco test will compel the accused to reveal the truth,” he said. Vipin suspects that a larger network might be involved in the murder.
Vipin alleged that while the Meghalaya Police had conducted a detailed investigation and arrested eight suspects, they were unwilling to conduct the narco test.
