Rajasthan elections: Polling agent dies due to 'cardiac arrest' in Pali
PTC News Desk: A polling agent for a candidate died of a suspected cardiac arrest on Saturday in Rajasthan's Pali district.
Rajasthan assembly elections began at 7 a.m. on Saturday.
According to an official, Shanti Lal, a polling agent at booth 47 in the Sumerpur assembly constituency, collapsed at the polling station. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and then to the district hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
"A heart attack is suspected," the official said.
The polling agent's political party was not immediately known.
