The actor is safe and did not suffer any gunshot injuries. According to the reports, three rounds were fired at his BMW. His driver was admitted to Nanavati Hospital and is currently undergoing treatment.
A team representing Tiger’s father, actor Jackie Shroff, confirmed that Tiger was safe, saying, “Tiger is okay.”
Overseas-based gangsters Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu allegedly claimed responsibility for the firing in a social media post issued in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi group. However, PTC News does not independently verify the claims.
A video later surfaced in which a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit and claiming links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang said Tiger Shroff was on their hit list. He allegedly claimed that the actor had ignored their instructions and was working with Salman Khan.
Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently lodged in a Gujarat jail, has repeatedly threatened to kill Salman Khan. Tiger Shroff and Salman Khan have not appeared together in a full-length feature film, but they share several connections within the film industry.
