'Sabka number aayega': Chilling audio after Tiger Shroff firing goes viral
PTC Web Desk: A man who claims he works for gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has issued a death threat to anyone in the film industry who works with Salman Khan. The warning came in an audio clip that began circulating on Monday, a day after shots were fired at actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai. In the recording, the speaker calls himself Anil Pandit and takes responsibility for Sunday evening’s attack.
He says Shroff had been told not to work with Salman and ignored the warning, which he presents as the reason behind the shooting.
The clip also carries an ominous line: “sabka number aayega,” or “everyone will get their turn.” It is aimed at people who, in his words, speak against Bishnoi just to get famous. The speaker also says anyone in the industry who works with Salman, or works separately from the gang’s wishes, will be killed. This appears to echo an earlier social media post making similar claims.
He further demanded that Salman publicly apologise to Lawrence Bishnoi and the wider Bishnoi community over the blackbuck poaching case. If he doesn’t, the speaker warns, Salman and his family will face severe consequences.

The police have not yet confirmed whether the audio clip or the social media post is genuine.
The feud behind the threats
The Bishnoi gang, which operates across several countries, has long been at odds with Salman Khan. The dispute goes back to allegations that he hunted and killed two blackbucks in Rajasthan in the late 1990s. The Bishnoi community regards the blackbuck, or Indian antelope, as sacred.
What happened in Juhu
The shooting took place on Sunday evening in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Three unidentified attackers reportedly fired at least five rounds at Shroff’s car. His driver and an autorickshaw driver were hurt. According to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the 36-year-old actor escaped with burn marks on his arm caused by gunpowder.
The police are still piecing together what led up to the attack. The Mumbai Police have registered an attempt-to-murder case against the three shooters and set up 15 teams to trace them. Given the seriousness of the crime, the Mumbai Crime Branch is handling the investigation.
Arrests and government response
On Monday, three suspects were detained in Kota, Rajasthan, in connection with the attack. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said he had spoken to Shroff by phone and promised full support. Speaking to reporters in Nagpur, he said investigators have important leads on the accused’s identities and will make arrests soon. He added that Mumbai Police will track down everyone involved.
