 BJP leader Vishnu Deo Sai: In a recent development, BJP leader Vishnu Deo Sai has assumed the role of Chief Minister in Chhattisgarh, following a meticulous selection process by the party. Hailing from a tribal community, Mr. Sai brings a wealth of political experience to his new position, having served as the state BJP chief, a Union Minister of State, and a member of the BJP national working committee.

With a political career rooted in grassroots leadership, Vishnu Deo Sai's journey began as a sarpanch, showcasing his commitment to community service. Notably, he shares a close association with former Chief Minister Raman Singh, who held office from 2003 to 2018, further solidifying his political standing.

Having served as an MLA from 1990 to 1998, Mr. Sai extended his political reach by securing election from the Raigarh constituency in the 1999 Lok Sabha polls. His ascendancy continued as he assumed the role of Chhattisgarh BJP chief in 2006 and later progressed to become a Union Minister of State at the central level.
