National Press Day: Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal, extended greetings to the members of media, on Saturday. Harsimrat Kaur Badal said, "On National Press Day, I greet members of the media on the crucial role they have played to maintain socio-political transparency and accountability. I hope the media continues to uphold the highest tenets of journalism in the larger interests of the nation." Sukhbir Singh Badal said, "Congratulations to members of the media fraternity on National Press Day.
