Paddy transplantation from June 20 in Punjab The Punjab government today said paddy transplantation by farmers would be allowed from June 20 in the state in order to save underground water resources. The state Agriculture Department has issued notification in this regard. The notification said, sowing of nursery of paddy not before 20 May each year, while the transplantation of paddy not before 20 June each year. -PTC News
