Padmaavat beats Baahubali 2 box office collection, record opening in Australia
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat has beaten the likes of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Hindi version) and Dangal. While Padmaavat opened to $367k, Baahubali 2 was $212k and Dangal $247k. The film has also made $64k in New Zealand and £97 from the preview screenings in UK. Padmaavat made a strong Rs 5 crore in its paid preview shows in India, despite limited release.
