PM Narendra Modi's YouTube channel crosses 1 cr subscribers; highest among global leaders
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's YouTube channel surpassed 1 crore subscribers on Tuesday, becoming the channel that has the largest subscriber base among top global leaders including US President Joe Biden and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.
Notably, the Indian Prime Minister also has a record-setting follower base on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. With over 75.3 million followers on Twitter, Prime Minister Modi is also the most followed Indian. Meanwhile, he has 46.8 million Facebook followers.
Coming back to YouTube subscribers, Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro ranks second after PM Modi on the list of political leaders across the world. President Bolsonaro has a total of 36 lakh subscribers.
Further on the list, Mexico President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador ranks third with 30.7 lakh subscribers. The list also includes Indonesia President Joko Widodo with 28.8 lakh subscribers among others.

The White House has 19 lakh subscribers, followed by US President Joe Biden with 7.03 lakh subscribers.
The figures were shared by Bharatiya Janata Party's Spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla. The BJP leader compared the number of users subscribed to the Narendra Modi Youtube Channel with that of other Heads of State.
Furthermore, in comparison with some of the national leaders as well, PM Narendra Modi tops the number of YouTube subscribers.
As per data, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has 5.25 lakh subscribers, Shashi Tharoor has 4.39 lakh subscribers, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has 3.73 lakh subscribers, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief MK Stalin has 2.12 lakh subscribers and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader has 1.37 lakh subscribers.
