95% of cases filed by CBI, ED are against opposition politicians, alleges AAP's Raghav Chadha
PTC News Desk: Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha claimed that central agencies remain silent in BJP-ruled states, adding that 95% of charges recorded by the CBI and ED are against opposition politicians.
"In BJP-ruled states agencies are silent and in non-BJP-ruled states agencies are violent. From 2004 to 2014, when there was a UPA Govt in power, ED raided only 112 locations. But from 2014 to 2023, ED raided 3100 locations," the AAP leader said while addressing a press conference.
He went on to say that the BJP has a "special love" for the AAP and has jailed several of its leaders in fake cases.
"95 per cent of the cases registered by CBI and ED are against politicians of the Opposition. They have a special love for AAP, they have jailed several of our leaders in false cases...This will be done by only those people who are scared of the INDIA alliance," he further said.
Chadha claimed that the AAP is not intimidated by the agencies' attacks.
"The AAP is a party that is not afraid of agency attacks. Truth and honesty are on our side, and we will fight until the very end. The BJP can make thousands of attempts to imprison any AAP politician they want on any false charge, but in the end, truth, honesty, Arvind Kejriwal, and the AAP will triumph. Attacks by agencies will increase as the Lok Sabha Elections approach," he added.
