'Why is Modi seeking Americans’ help?': CJP's Dipke hits back at singer Mary Millben over foreign funding charge
PTC Web Desk: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has hit back at American singer Mary Millben, who claimed that his outfit gets money from donors in the United States. Dipke has responded in a post on X.
He asked why Prime Minister Narendra Modi was turning to Americans to run down his own people and wondered who had given foreign nationals the right to meddle in India’s internal matters.
“Why is Modi seeking the support of Americans to discredit his own countrymen? Who gave foreign nationals the right to interfere in India’s internal affairs?” Dipke wrote. “We are more than capable of dealing with our own issues. We don’t need outsiders interfering in our country’s affairs,” he added.
What Millben said
Dipke’s reply came a few hours after Millben posted on X, naming him and the CJP. She alleged that the group was “being funded by donors in the US who are against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and your future under his leadership”.
Addressing young Indians, she wrote that this was “not the time to be silent”. She said Modi, who has served India for 25 years, including 12 as Prime Minister and three straight election wins, would not “bow to disruptive forces from my country”.
Millben also claimed the same donors follow a global pattern of going after conservative leaders. “Find a US educated person from the country, radicalise them, send them back to the country and fund them to start chaos and destruction,” she wrote. According to her, such attempts had not succeeded but had still “impacted the development and governance of the country”.

She called for a new voice in India and urged people “born, raised, educated on the soil of India” to organise and peacefully protest against what she called the “disruptive spirit of the Cockroach Party”. “There should always be a counter movement to uphold democracy and freedom,” she added, ending with: “Rise up, young patriots! Rise up!”
Not the first time
This is not the first time Millben has spoken in support of Modi. When he completed 25 years in public service, she called him a “shining beacon of the Indian dream” and appealed for unity among communities. She had also criticised those opposing an upcoming Madison Square Garden event in August this year featuring RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
The CJP has faced foreign funding questions before. Earlier this year, a Surat-based RTI activist asked for a probe into the finances of Dipke’s father, Bhagwanrao Dipke, questioning how a junior engineer’s salary could have paid for his son’s higher education in the US. Dipke explained that he paid for his studies through a Boston University scholarship and an education loan.
