BRS MP Prabhakar Reddy stabbed in stomach during Telangana election campaign
Hyderabad, October 30 BRS MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, candidate for the Dubbak Assembly segment, was allegedly attacked while campaigning in Siddipet district on Monday. According to police reports, an unidentified man stabbed the Member of Parliament from the Medak Lok Sabha constituency, causing injuries to his stomach. Reddy has been hospitalised and his condition is currently stable.
This incident occurred in Doulthabad mandal during BRS MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy's campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled for November 30.

Television footage captured Prabhakar Reddy taking immediate action to control the bleeding from his stab wound while seated in a vehicle. The attacker was reportedly apprehended and subdued by local residents.
Siddipet Commissioner of Police N Swetha confirmed the assailant's custody and stated that they are in the process of verifying his identity. Ongoing investigations into the matter are being conducted by the authorities.
