PTC News Desk: Amid massive Bihar elections rout, Congress has called a review meeting on November 18, 2025, of all the in-charges, State unit chiefs, Congress Legislature Party leaders and secretaries of 12 States and Union territories where Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls is underway.

A day after suffering a major loss in Bihar — where the NDA won 202 seats while the Mahagathbandhan got only 35 — the Congress on Saturday raised questions about the Election Commission’s role in the election. This came after senior leaders like Rahul Gandhi and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge met to discuss the poor results.

A senior Congress member said that a review meeting with AICC leaders, State Congress chiefs, CLP leaders, and secretaries from 12 States and Union Territories (where a Special Intensive Revision of voter lists is happening) will be held at Indira Bhawan on November 18.

The second phase of this voter list revision process began on November 4 and will continue until December 4.

On Friday (November 14, 2025), Rahul Gandhi called the Bihar results unexpected and said the election was unfair from the start. He added that the Congress and the INDIA bloc would thoroughly examine what went wrong.

The Congress also alleged that the results clearly show large-scale “vote theft,” which they claimed was orchestrated by the Prime Minister, the Home Minister, and the Election Commission.
