Swati Maliwal assault row: Kejriwal, AAP leaders to protest march to BJP office today

Swati Maliwal assault row: Amidst the ongoing dispute involving Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal's alleged assault, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to march to the BJP office today.

In anticipation of AAP's large-scale protest, Delhi Police, Rapid Action Force, and CRPF personnel have been stationed outside the BJP headquarters.

Meanwhile, Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar, who was arrested on Saturday in connection with the May 13 assault case, is expected to be taken to the Chief Minister's residence on Sunday to recreate the crime scene.

Hours after Kumar's arrest, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has issued a direct challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, accusing them of targeting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in a "jail ka khel."

On Saturday, Arvind Kejriwal announced that he, along with all top AAP leaders, MLAs, and MPs, will march to the BJP headquarters at 12 noon tomorrow (Sunday). "You can put in jail whoever you want," he said, openly daring the BJP, particularly PM Narendra Modi.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has openly accused the BJP of systematically targeting AAP leaders by outting them behind bars. "The BJP is putting AAP leaders in jail. They put me in jail, they put Satyendar Jain in jail, and also Manish Sisodia was imprisoned. Sanjay Singh too. And today, my PA Bibhav Kumar has also been jailed," Kejriwal added.

He alleged that the BJP was planning to imprison more AAP leaders, including Raghav Chadha, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi. Kejriwal questioned the BJP's motives, suggesting that the reason for this crackdown was AAP's success in governance.

The Delhi CM said he, along with all top AAP leaders, MLAs, and MPs, would march to the BJP headquarters at 12 noon tomorrow (Sunday). "Arrest whoever you want," he openly challenged the BJP and PM Modi.
