Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Who votes in Phase 1 on April 19? Check List

Lok Sabha Elections 2024:  Indian is all set for the first phase of its seven-phase Lok Sabha Elections 2024. 

With 102 constituencies spread across 21 states and Union Territories (UTs), the first phase of voting for the 18th Lok Sabha elections is all set to commence on April 19, 2024. The counting of votes will be held on June 4.


Key states scheduled for polling in Phase 1 includes Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Uttarakhand. 

Lok Sabha Polls Phase 1: Date and Time 

As per the Election Commission’s timetable, voting for the first phase of the 18th Lok Sabha Elections is scheduled to begin on April 19 and will begin at 8:00 am and to conclude at 5:00 pm. An additional hour is allocated as a buffer period for voters already in line.

Notably, as per the schedule announced by the Election Commission of India (ECI), the second phase is scheduled to be held on April 26, third phase on May 7, fourth phase on May 13, fifth phase on May 20, sixth phase on May 25 and the last phase on June 1. The counting of votes will be held on June 4.
