Lok Sabha Polls 2024 | Ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections Phase 6, several veterans including former Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari, former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani, and former Union Minister Dr Murli Manohar Joshi availed the home voting facility to cast their votes
The office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Delhi initiated the home voting facility on Thursday for elderly voters and persons with disabilities (PwDs), which will continue until May 24.

As per the data provided by the CEO's office, 1409 voters availed themselves of the home voting option across all seven parliamentary constituencies in Delhi on Friday, the second day since the facility was introduced.
As per the reports, the former Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari voted on Thursday
Sources mentioned that former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani cast his vote on Saturday.
The Election Commission stated that voting from home occurs with the full participation of polling staff and security personnel, ensuring the secrecy of voting is rigorously maintained.
This initiative aims to facilitate the participation of these voters in the electoral process with convenience and respect, eliminating the need for them to visit polling stations.
