PTC News impact : Punjab CM asks DC Ludhiana to visit veteran actor Satish Kaul Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday asked Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ludhiana to visit veteran actor Satish Kaul ,who is going through Vivekananda Vriddha Ashram in Ludhiana. The report about deteriorating conditions of veteran actor Satish Kaul was first shown by PTC News Network. Taking notice of the news report, Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday took to micro blogging site twitter and tweet “Sorry to learn about the condition of our iconic actor Satish Kaul ji. Asking DC Ludhiana to visit him and send me a report. The State Government will surely assist him”
Satish kaul has worked in both Punjabi and Hindi movies and has acted in over 300 films, is in Ludhiana these days. Kaul started his career in Hindi cinema with movie Prem Parbat. The actor has been living alone after his divorce as his wife and son shifted to the USA . He had also started an acting school but failed and was left penniless

He also suffered a spinal fracture and was left bed ridden with no money . Satish Kaul was later taken to an old age home in Doraha and from there he was brought to Ludhiana by Mayor Anil Bharti.
