AAP Ludhiana South MLA Rajinder Kaur Chhina, gunman injured in road accident near Khanauri
PTC News Desk: Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Ludhiana South Rajinder Kaur China and her gunman sustained critical injuries in an accident on Wednesday.
The Toyota Innova in which she was travelling with her gunman, husband, and son met with the accident near the Khanauri border.
She was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Haryana and later referred to Ludhiana's hospital. Reportedly her condition remains to be critical.
AAP MLA was returning from Delhi after attending a conference in the United States and landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport late Tuesday. Her husband, son, and PSO had gone to Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport to pick her up.
Atam Nagar MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu said Chhina received minor injuries on her face and hands, and was doing fine. “After getting first aid from a local hospital, they are on their way back to Ludhiana,” Sidhu added.
