Baghapurana dance video: Education official suspended over professional misconduct
PTC News Desk: The Punjab government on Tuesday suspended an education officer in Baghapurana, Moga district, after a video of him dancing with his wife inside his office went viral on social media.
The officer, Devi Prasad, was serving as the Block Primary Education Officer (BPEO) and was accused of professional misconduct. The suspension order was issued by School Education Secretary Anindita Mitra, following instructions from Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains.

According to senior officials, Prasad informed the authorities that the video was shot 'for entertainment purposes' only when he wa spending time with his family in his office as it was their wedding anniversary.
