Bharat Jodo Yatra: Punjab’s 8-year-old climbs Aadi Himani Chamunda peak to support Rahul Gandhi

Anandpur Sahib, January 2: Punjab’s 8-year-old Arjit Sharma from Anandpur sahib hoisted the tricolor at the altitude of 10,500 feet at Aadi Himani Chamunda peak on New Year. In an attempt to support congress’s 'Bharat Jodo Yatra’, class four student Arjit completed the massive trek effortlessly. Throughout the event he wore white t-shirt with Rahul Gandhi’s imprinted on it. 

 8-year-old Arjit Sharma of Punjab hoisted the tricolor flag on the 10500 feet high Aadi Himani Chamunda peak on the first day of the new year. Arjit Sharma is a resident of Gambhirpur Tehsil Sri Anandpur Sahib District Rupnagar.

He is a 4th class student of Sri Dasmesh Academy Sri Anandpur Sahib. Adi Himani Chamunda is a Hindu temple dedicated to Sri Chamunda Devi, located in the Himalayas at Chandra Bhan, in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. This temple is near the ruins of the palace of King Chandra Bhan Chand Katoch.
