Major administrative reshuffle: Punjab Police transfers 29 cops including 1 IPS officer
PTC News Desk: Ahead of elections to several municipal corporations and councils, the Punjab Police have transferred 29 officers, including one IPS officer. The transfer orders have come into effect immediately, and all officers have been asked to join their new postings without delay.
Among the officers shifted is Anubhav Jain, who has been transferred from ASP SD East, Amritsar, to ASP SD Industrial Area-B, Ludhiana.
The reshuffle includes postings across multiple districts and specialised units such as Ludhiana, Amritsar, Patiala, Sangrur, Moga, Hoshiarpur, Barnala, Gurdaspur, Bathinda and Jalandhar, along with state intelligence and anti-narcotics wings.
