Police seize 155 kg poppy husk in Punjab's Pathankot, two held
Pathankot (Punjab), November 14: Two persons were arrested on Sunday for allegedly possessing poppy husk (drugs) in Taragarh of Pathankot, Punjab, Superintendent of Police Harpal Singh informed.
The police recovered 155 kgs of poppy husk (drugs) after stopping a truck and conducting searches, according to the SP.

The truck was coming from Madhya Pradesh, according to the police. An NDPS Act case has been filed.
"155 kgs of the poppy husk (drugs) were seized by police in Taragarh, Pathankot after a truck was stopped & searches were conducted. The truck was coming from Madhya Pradesh. Two persons including the driver nabbed. Case filed under NDPS Act," Pathankot SP said.
