PSEB 2025: Annual examination for Punjab board commences today | Check details
PTC News Desk: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) have begun exams for Classes 8 and 12. The Class 12 exams will run from February 19 to April 4, 2025, while the Class 10 exams will take place from March 10 to April 4, 2025. Both exams will be conducted in the traditional pen-and-paper format. The Class 8 exams will start on February 19 and conclude on March 7, 2025. Students can find the full date sheet for the 2025 Punjab Board exams on the official website, pseb.ac.in.
Students taking the exam must carry their admit cards every day and arrive at the examination center at least 30 minutes before the exam begins.
The board has established 2,579 centers for conducting the annual board exams for Classes 8, 10, and 12, with more than 8.82 lakh students expected to take part.
A total of 3,02,189 Class 8 students will sit for the exam, while 2,84,658 students will take the Class 10 exam, and 9,877 students will appear for the Class 10 open exam. In addition, 2,72,105 senior secondary students will participate in the Class 12 board exam, with 13,363 students taking the Class 12 open exam.
Approximately 2,579 examination centers have been established across the state for the board exams, with 2,579 Superintendents and 3,269 Deputy Superintendents assigned to oversee the smooth and fair administration of the exams.
