Punjab Police arrest Amritpal Singh's close aide Joga Singh
PTC Web Desk: The Punjab Police on Friday arrested Joga Singh, driver and close aide of Waris Punjab De head and Khalistan sympathiser Amritpal Singh, who continues to evade police arrest.
It is learnt that Joga Singh had allegedly provided Scorpio used by Amritpal to flee from the authorities. On the other hand, the police have stepped up security in and around Amritsar and Bathinda following inputs that Amritpal Singh may surrender.
Sources said Joga Singh was driving the car in which Amritpal and Papalpreet reached Hoshiarpur. When the police started chasing them, they left Innova at a village in Hoshiarpur. Amritpal had reportedly asked Joga Singh to keep his cellphone on and run towards Ludhiana while the Waris Punjab De head fled towards other direction.
